They say learning does not stop at any level of education nor at any age and rather is a lifelong journey. We have among us today, the epitome of this saying, Mr. Sandeep Sreedharan, a former Management Consultant turned chef and entrepreneur and founder of a private catering venue Esca Brahma where Esca- means food in latin and Brahma means creation. With the creation of a new genre of cuisine called ‘western coastal’, he has managed to build credibility among the most discerning palates and has succeeded in putting the Indian coastal cuisine on the world map. For Sreedharan, who hails from Mahe, food has always been a passion and he’s now one of the most sought-after chefs in Mumbai. He has also co-established his first casual fine-dining restaurant , Curry Tales to popularise southwestern coastal cuisine which he soon plans to branch out and also to introduce three more concepts across the spectrum including a coastal café when he isn’t busy collaborating with chefs across the globe and trying out new flavours and cuisines.
Sandeep has over 2 decades of practice in creating culinary experiences all over the world. With a strong management background, and a stronger passion for food, Sandeep runs a successful food blog and a design studio under the brand name ‘Esca Brahma’.
